Starting from a draft copies its content. The original is untouched.

A VAT rate of zero removes the VAT line from invoices entirely.
Host both alongside your email images. Left blank, exported PDFs fall back to Times and Helvetica — correct, but not yours.

A prefix of INV- and four digits gives INV-0001. Change the prefix and
numbering starts again at one under the new one — the old series is untouched, and both remain unique.
The sender must be the script's own account or one of its verified Gmail aliases.
Amount is recorded either way. The status is what shows on the invoice and the ledger.
